Barb & Barbara welcome you!

Barb and Barbara are committed to helping women and couples take the lid off their desires and claim their full erotic power*. Claiming this power allows us to experience passion and abundance in all areas of our lives including relationships, business, friendship, self-esteem,and creativity.

Sex and Spirit have too long been disconnected in our lives. Many messages the American culture gives women encourage the separation of sex and soul, body and spirit, heart and genitals, eros and agape. These divisions do not promote wholeness as human beings or the power of being women.

Several years ago, we began offering workshops for lesbian, bisexual and women who define themselves more broadly as queer to support the connection of sex and spirit.

Over time, a demand arose from heterosexual women curious about this work and our coaching practice was born.

"The very word erotic comes from the Greek word eros, the personification of love in all its aspects - born of Chaos, and personifying creative power and harmony. When I speak of the erotic, then, I speak of it as an assertion of the lifeforce of women; of that creative energy empowered, the knowledge and use of which we are now reclaiming in our language, our history, our dancing, our work, our lives."

We think about erotic in the way Audre Lorde wrote about it in 1989
